Change Blogger Favicon

Ever noticed such custom favicon and how to do it? Well, almost all blog owners wanted to customize their web page and adding it in blogger is very easy indeed. Just insert the following code below in your template, between the head tag. I recommend you add it above the tag.

1. Get your own choice of favicon. There are many sites offering free favicons ready for use out there. What you need to do is just Google search "favicon download" to find one. In case you have your own design, upload it on photobucket, picasa album, or any photo hosting sites. After these, copy direct link.

2. Go to your Blogger dashboard's Layout tab » Design » Edit HTML. If you're not too familiar with the codes and scripts, make a back up of your current template (Download Full Template) in case something goes wrong.

3. Key-in Ctrl + F, type

and hit Enter.

Find this line of codes:

and in my case, this is my code for http://klurutbatin.com

I have used Flickr for the above example. Just replace the {image url} with your exact image url.

4.Save template and you're done.
To see the final changes of your template, Clear your browser's cache since your web pages are stored there. Or just try opening another browser and open your website. You'll see the result.
