Welcome To My DOFOLLOW Site!

I have been blogging and making websites from the middle of 2009 and surely I have done all those tedious and time consuming jobs of building good keywords, descriptions and sitemaps as well as making relevant posts to other internal websites. And after that goes the SEO submissions, inside linkings (in between pages or websites), tradelinks and last but not least updating websites a couple of times a week(which I have not accomplished due to laziness and losing my focus), just to ensure that the contents are unique and just nice for all the robots to crawl. Recently, I really find that the “dofollow” subject to be very interesting as I am equipping myself to the ultimate in the page rank and traffic, so far as the cyber world is concerned.

Guys, please don't just give comments for the sake of links. As for examples, the comments would be narrow one-liners like “What a wonderful blog you have,” “A great post, keep on going dude!” and etc. We should have a mutual understanding over this matter because it really determines both parties page rank eventually. I hope that your comments will not eventually be removed and if that happened at any time in the near future, surely there will be no backlinks for you. Frankly, I await your conducive and relevant comments in this blog, thank you.

Change Blogger Favicon

Ever noticed such custom favicon and how to do it? Well, almost all blog owners wanted to customize their web page and adding it in blogger is very easy indeed. Just insert the following code below in your template, between the head tag. I recommend you add it above the tag.

1. Get your own choice of favicon. There are many sites offering free favicons ready for use out there. What you need to do is just Google search "favicon download" to find one. In case you have your own design, upload it on photobucket, picasa album, or any photo hosting sites. After these, copy direct link.

2. Go to your Blogger dashboard's Layout tab » Design » Edit HTML. If you're not too familiar with the codes and scripts, make a back up of your current template (Download Full Template) in case something goes wrong.

3. Key-in Ctrl + F, type
and hit Enter.

Find this line of codes:

and in my case, this is my code for http://klurutbatin.com

I have used Flickr for the above example. Just replace the {image url} with your exact image url.

4.Save template and you're done.
To see the final changes of your template, Clear your browser's cache since your web pages are stored there. Or just try opening another browser and open your website. You'll see the result.

Capture Window's Screen Shot Using PrtSc Button

Have you ever seen captured window image like below and wonder how on earth did someone do it? Well please read on to discover one of the simplest tricks available at your fingertips.

The secret lies on the PrtScn (print screen) key on your Windows keyboard. It copies an image of your screen onto the "clipboard," ready to paste into any graphics program. These steps show you how to use it along with Windows' standard image editor, Microsoft Paint, to save an image of your screen. For a more advanced version, you can for instance use the Adobe Photoshop or even Adobe Ilustrator or with whatever image editor program that you’re used with.

Now let’s see the simple 3 steps:
1.Open any webpage using any browser. Press the Print Screen key (usually labeled as PrtSc) on your keyboard.
2.Open an image editing program, as mentioned above.
3.Simple press Ctrl V to paste (or go to the Edit menu and choose Paste) and Save the image to the format that suits you. Now you’ve got yourself an image as the above example. Isn’t that simple and easy?

Optional steps:

4.You may use your image editor's Crop Tool (to crop out unnecessary portions of the screen shot). Let’s say I wanted only the Global Visitors portion of the image. I will just select the portion and save it or even add some information to be used later in my advertisement/article.

How To Use Kapersky Pure For FREE After 30 Days Trial Period

Kapersky products seem to become very popular and being used extensively nowadays. What I am going to share with you here is the method I recently discovered that is on how we can use Kapersky products generally and Kapersky Pure specifically, after the trial period ends. Kapersky is as a matter of fact the all-in-one security solution that offers a worry-free and secure internet experience for all. Ok that'll be enough for the introduction.

First and foremost what you need to do first is to delete the trial key or otherwise this method will not work.

To delete the trial key, open Kaspersky > License Manager and click on the red X (cross) next to the code.

Click Yes when the dialog box appear. Then simply follow the steps below carefully to do it:

1. Open Kaspersky settings > Options and uncheck Enable Self-Defense. Click Ok. Then Exit Kaspersky.

2. Go to Start, open Run, then type regedit and press enter. Under Registry Editor, open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Kaspersky Lab > protected > AVP9 > environment.

5. Find the entry PCID. After you have found it, double click on it and change the last 3 digits to what ever you want and click Ok.

8. Re-enable Self-Defense from options.

5. Exit registry editor and restart Kaspersky.

6. Select activate trial license and you should now have 30 or 31 days remaining. Repeat this method any time to reset to 30 days.

What is the difference between Add-on Domain, Parked Domain and Sub Domain?

You have to use the domain tools from your control panel of your server to make all these 3 examples.
Add-on Domain:
Add-on domain is just another domain name but hosted using the space of another main domain. Lets take for example, www.qalbunasrar.com is the main domain and I would like to host my other site, www.klwebmaster.com, using the space of qalbunasrar then www.klwebmaster.com is an add-on domain to the main site. But this new domain should have already been registered and the nameservers settings should point to the nameservers of the main domain. The contents of the add-on domain will reside in a folder under public_html.
The add-on domain can be accessed by different ways:
klwebmaster.com
qalbunasrar.com/klwebmaster
klwebmaster.qalbunasrar.com
In other words, you use the same server or hosting to manage multiple domains. The drawback is that, you only have one control panel for a number of domains in use.

Parked Domain:
This is similar to add-on domain except that instead of hosting another separate website, the parked domain redirects to the main domain. For example, if anybody have their sites registered with all the top level domain names (.com, .net, .org, .edu etc), they can use parked domain to redirect to the main domain. In this case also, the domain should have already been registered and the nameservers settings should point to the nameservers of the main domain.
Sub Domain:
A subdomain is just an extension of the main domain. It is used to create separate regions in the website to easily distinguish separate topics and used for easy access.
The sub domain can be accessed by different ways:
qalbunasrar.com/klwebmaster
klwebmaster.qalbunasrar.com

Issues With meta name="robots" content="index,follow,all"

Actually "index, follow" is the same as "all". There is no need to use this tag in the first place as that is the default behavior for most spiders that are of importance. This is also a myth when it comes to SEO. Anytime I see this tag I cringe as someone has not been doing their homework or is trying every SEO trick in the book. Please, don't fall into the same trap as many others have.

meta name="robots" content="index,follow"

As mentioned previously, this tag is not required as it is the default behavior of the spider. If you are adamant about using it, the proper format would be...

meta name="robots" content="all"

The DOFOLLOW story

I have strong opinion that any DOFOLLOW websites/blogs will just find their way back to the glorious days as that in the yesteryears. They are and will attract many spammers as we understand. Similarly any NOFOLLOW blogs known to us are experiencing and will have to face the same problem again and again. Should we blame a car due to frequent failure of badly constructed roads, weather conditions and etc? No, we should upgrade, enhance and do whatever it takes to adjust, adapt and to be relevant to the cyber world's progress.

Backlinks are very important for your websites. They are like votes cast by one respectable website to another, and they will greatly increase the site’s traffic. When one gets many backlinks, one’s site’s ranking in search engine results will skyrocket. Search engines use programs called search bots or web crawlers to access and index web pages. That’s how you see websites in the search results of Google and Yahoo!.

If your site ranks high for any search terms related to the products you promote, you can get several potential customers (a very daunting task indeed). Now, in order for you to get business, you must rank high in search engines, and the most important thing that will help you in this is link building.

You should try to get links from whichever sources available. It is a tactic in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). In the past, when you commented in a blog, you could get a backlink, just by using this HTML code:

<a href="your link URL">your link name (anchor)</a>

When you placed this piece of code within your comment, you used to get backlink from it. It was highly beneficial for you to rank high (especially if the blog is high PageRank).

What is NOFOLLOW?

Soon the scenario changed. In 2005, Matt Cutts, Google’s webspam team head and Jason Shellon of Blogger brought up a new attribute in HTML codes—NOFOLLOW. NOFOLLOW is a HTML tag added to the link anchor code, and will change the normal code as:

<a href="your link URL" rel="nofollow">your link name (anchor)</a>

This is automatically done. Meaning, when you comment with the link, the NOFOLLOW attribute will be added automatically. And the result is deep. The link will be valueless and the search crawlers would not follow them to index. So, such a link is as useless as a piece of text. Blogger blogs soon adopted this and being Google’s regulation, all or most of other search engines also adopted this.

Though this is a good scheme to prevent comment spamming, it hit the genuine commenters. They also lost so many backlinks, and a nice easy way to get them. But people started working against this. The bloggers started removing NOFOLLOW attribute from the comments of valuable commenters. And a different attribute, DOFOLLOW began.

Many bloggers followed suit. Today there are so many DOFOLLOW blogs, and by commenting on these blogs, with your backlink, you can get full value on that link. You can use such blogs and comment links in them to promote your own site in search results. Soon enough, so many DOFOLLOW search engines also started coming, which index only DOFOLLOW blogs. You can search for a particular term, and get the related DOFOLLOW blogs.

A DOFOLLOW comment will be a normal comment as in the above or will have the attribute “rel=’dofollow’” instead of nofollow, as in:

<a href="your link URL" rel="dofollow">your link name (anchor)</a>

The attribute DOFOLLOW or no rel attribute at all means the blog link is good. Though no attribute in HTML exists as DOFOLLOW, it means that the blog is not NOFOLLOW, so it has the same effect of a normal backlink. Nevertheless, what we did for our latest free backlink was to do a simple

<a rel="follow" href="http://klwebmaster.blogspot.com" target="_blank"><br /> <br /> <img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4094/4740035900_96dbebd7d5_t.jpg" alt="klwebmaster" /><br /> <br /> </a>

whereby the difference is just at the rel="follow" attributes that blends well with the bots and crawlers. Well we may have different thoughts on this.

Create a Sticky Post Which Remains Always at Top

Many people want a particular post to stay always at the top position on your homepage. Actually, Blogger arranges the posts order according to their date & time. So, you can also change your post time to keep it at the top as long as you wish. There are two scenarios explained below.
If you're writing a post and haven't published yet

Just click the Post Options link at the bottom of the post editor and change the date of the post to some future date like 2020. The format of the date is Month/Day/Year like when I'm writing this post, the date is 7/15/09, so I can change 09 to some future year.

If you've already written and published the post

Then go to Edit Posts and then find that post. Once found, click Edit link and post will again open in the Post Editor where you can change it's date.

meta name="revisit-after" content="7 days"

There are some discussions in forums that said Google will not list them and even worse will rank them low, if the website uses the above meta codes, which constantly call on all robots including Googlebots to index the website.

The question is why is that the meta name="revisit-after" content="7 days" code is so widely spread in the internet and won't it do any harm to those websites/blogs? Surprisingly, there isn't any "revisit-after" code mentioned in the webmasters' support page. But some have the opinion that since this is not an exclusive list of available meta tags, and they should feel free to use unlisted meta tags if they are important to their site. Just remember that Google will ignore meta tags it doesn't know.

This meta information tells bots to reindex the site every two days, or whatever time is given. In practise no robot cares for that meta info. Robots just follow their own schedule. I would recommend to just leave that out.

And certainly it will not affect any of their page ranks as well. You know, after all the hard work had been done onto them.
